Date Posted:03/06/2015 6:44 PMCopy HTML O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. — Psalm 98:1 (KJV) Songs can stir us up or they can bring us comfort. Songs can take us back to a special time, or songs can give us hope for things to come. Unfortunately, we usually leave the words and the music of our songs only for someone else to write, never taking time to write our own "new song." But today, why not make up your own new song of praise and thanks to God. It doesn't have to be great, just heartfelt and offered to the Father from whom all joyful songs come. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Re:VERSE OF TODAY Date Posted:04/09/2015 10:54 PMCopy HTML Bible Verse for 04/08/2015 Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. — Psalm 143:1 (KJV) Some days are just plain tough! Those we care about are hurting. Our plans are falling through. Our prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling and fall at our feet. We cry out to God — sometimes in anger, sometimes in desperation, but especially for mercy. We need relief! We need hope! We need the Father to respond. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Re:VERSE OF TODAY Date Posted:04/16/2015 3:37 PMCopy HTML Bible Verse for 04/16/2015 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. — Romans 8:1-2 (KJV) We are set free in Jesus from the most important bondage of all, our fear of God's judgment. We are liberated from law, which convicts and leads to death. We are set free by the Spirit to not only fulfill what the Law intended, but also to be delivered from the penalty of death that the Law required. In Jesus, and by the power of his Spirit, we are set free to be God's children... for forever! The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Re:VERSE OF TODAY Date Posted:12/29/2021 9:07 PMCopy HTML I LOVE YOU JESUS
Jesus was a mortal man who died and was raised to incorruptibility by his heavenly Father: a pattern for our salvation. How could he, a mortal man, have preexisted as an immortal person? It is contrary to reason and to the Scriptures. Jesus received his life from God. God was before him. He was after God. Jesus’ great eternal nature began at his resurrection. |
